  • Skip eating meat for a day, better for the environment and for your body.
  • Choose a protein-rich snack instead of snacks with carbohydrates. Proteins make you feel fuller longer!
  • A cup of tea with ginger and a slice of lime is delicious and refreshing. Ginger contains vitamins and minerals that have a positive effect on your bowel function.
  • Did you know it is better to eat a piece of fruit than to drink fruit juice. One piece of fruit contains less fruit sugar and more fibres than a glass of juice.
  • Nice weather: choose water based-ice (50 calories) instead of a scoop of ice cream (110 calories).
  • If your basic diet is good, it is ok to sometimes eat something you find very tasty and that is not that healthy without feeling guilty.
  • Adding a slice of lemon and some mint to a glass of water makes it extra fresh and tasty.
  • Preferably eat fresh and unprocessed food. Readymade, processed food products contain high levels of salt, sugar and saturated fat.
  • Do not eat in front of the television or your computer. You don’t taste what you eat and how much you eat. This will make you feel less full.
